Driven by a deep passion for service, this Colorado native has dedicated the last 7 years to her role as a Big Brothers Big Sisters parent, making a tangible difference in the lives of her children. Having moved to Oregon in 2018, she’s built a career around helping others, previously working in clinical settings supporting individuals through the challenges of chemical dependency and mental health diagnoses. Her compassionate nature also shines through her work as an emergency veterinary assistant in both Colorado and Oregon. After a temporary detour into retail for financial stability during the COVID-19 pandemic, she’s thrilled to be returning to her true calling in service work, motivated to apply for a new opportunity after seeing the Match Specialist position advertised in the BBBS newsletter.

When not working, Jenifer finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, including small craft projects, soaking up the sun outdoors, and spending quality time with her loving boyfriend, Austin. Her family is her source of immense pride, with children Mariah, Mickey, and Mickaylah, and grandchildren Lilith, Corvus, Jasper, Penelope, and Callum. She shares her home with her cherished cats, Pharaoh and Anubis.
