Rosie was born and raised in rural Forest Grove, Oregon, and is proud to call the Willamette Valley her home. She graduated from Portland Community College with an Associate of Science degree and began working for the Hillsboro School District as a Special Education Assistant. During her time as an educator, Rosie reinforced her belief in empowering youth and providing opportunities for all children to flourish.
This belief translated naturally into her role as Program Specialist with Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she creates and supports mentoring friendships. Rosie works to emphasize patience, compassion, and consistency as key components in successful match relationships, instilling that mentorship is transformational for both Big and Little.
In her free time, Rosie enjoys exploring nature, competitive soccer, rollerblading, writing music, and playing on the family farm with her nieces and nephews.
