Hi! I’m Oscar Cáceres Jiménez. I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, where I got my college education and started my professional career. There, I worked doing social research for non-profits and government agencies. Here I’ve worked many different jobs, mostly within the food service industry and, in the last couple of years, at an outdoor-based mentoring program. I’ve been living in the U.S. since 2014 and in Portland since 2019, and I love this part of the country. I’m looking forward to helping however I can to make these mentoring relationships strong and meaningful for the benefit of everyone, especially the littles!

Hola! Mi nombre es Oscar Cáceres Jiménez. Nací y crecí en Lima, Perú, donde hice mis estudios universitarios y comencé mi carrera profesional. Allá trabajé haciendo investigación social para ONGs y agencias gubernamentales. Acá he tenido diferentes trabajos, sobre todo en la industria de comida y servicio, y en los últimos años en un programa de mentoría centrado en actividades y tiempo al aire libre. Vivo en Estados Unidos desde el 2014 y en Portland desde el 2019 y me encanta esta parte del país. ¡Tengo muchas ganas de conocerlos y ayudar como pueda en reforzar estas relaciones de mentoría para el beneficio de todos, especialmente los jóvenes participantes!
