Sparkling lights, crackling fireplaces, and the smell of hot cocoa— the holiday season is upon us! Each winter, Big Brothers Big Sisters staff, supporters, and volunteers help make the holidays special for our Littles and their families.
First, volunteers from Premiere Property Group and Lowe’s transformed an empty office space into a snowy winter wonderland with paper snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, wrapping paper on the doors, and tinsel, ribbons, and ornaments adding a pop of sparkle throughout.

On December 6th, over 60 families and Big/Little matches arrived at the Winter Village to celebrate the season together through an array of festive activities.
Our friends from Salesforce hosted a cookie decorating station, where everyone had a chance to get creative with frosting and sprinkles to make a (tasty) masterpiece of their own.

ConMet led the craft station, where there were markers, ribbon, tinsel, and more to make a custom ornament!

The slime-making table was also a hit! Guests combined slime, sparkles, and more to make slime that was just their style.
The hot cocoa bar was perfect for warming up. Ambassador Board member Charlie brought all the fixings to make a perfect mug of cocoa.

Finally, kids and adults alike giggled their way through a snowman-making competition, where teamwork was vital to making the best snowman out of paper towels and a friend in record time!

Before they headed home, each family picked out a gift card and a special gift bag with activities to keep everyone entertained on those days when it’s too chilly to play outside.
Thank you to the sponsors and individuals who donated gift cards and gift bags, including Regence, M Financial, Premiere Property Group, Mortenson, and several generous individuals!
