BBBS supports Bigs, Littles, and their families year-round in more ways than just mentorship check-ins. We provide resources and assistance for housing, health care, food insecurity, and more, all funded by general donations to BBBS.

At any time, BBBS families facing food insecurity can request gift cards to purchase groceries.

Due to the federal government shutdown, SNAP food benefits expired on November 1, leaving 757,000 Oregonians, including 210,000 children, in the lurch.

Many BBBS families rely on SNAP benefits, so the need for these gift cards is higher than usual. We’ve created an emergency food fund to provide directly to BBBS families. Your donations will be used to purchase grocery store gift cards for Littles and families with a critical need during this difficult time.
