On April 25th, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest community came together at Portland Community College’s Cascade Campus to celebrate the graduation of matches from the class of 2026. Each graduate, along with their Big, was given the opportunity to address the room to thank their support system and reminisce about their time with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Of the 22 graduates, 7 students applied and won scholarships of $200 to begin their new journeys. Big Brothers Big Sisters seniors achieved a 95% graduation rate this year, far higher than the overall Oregon rate of 83%. Thank you to everyone who made this special event possible, including our event host, Portland Community College.
