Amelia was born and raised in Portland, OR. She graduated with a degree in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Oregon. Her studies lead her to Quito, Ecuador where she lived 5 years, beginning her career working with children and families. Amelia returned to Portland in 2015 and has enjoyed serving bilingual families in her hometown since then. In her free time she enjoys dancing with local band Bloco Alegria, getting outdoors with her dog and her husband, and eating her way through the Portland food scene.
