I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I moved to Michigan for my liberal arts degree in Religious Studies, with time in Senegal and Israel, before making the jump to Portland. Personally and professionally, I enjoy supporting meaningful relationships among people who might not have otherwise met, so I feel lucky to do behind-the-scenes work that supports strong BBBS matches. This includes managing our training program, which prepares volunteers, families, and staff to create a foundation of safety and an experience that empowers youth to explore who they are, build positive relationships, and have a lot of fun!

I am also proud to lead the agency’s ongoing LGBTQ inclusion initiative and to participate in the Relationship Responders, a cohort of national BBBS leaders dedicated to justice, equity, and inclusion who empower local agencies to respond to tough situations as they occur. Outside of work, I am active in Portland’s Jewish community, and I generally try to sing with others as often as possible.
