Born and raised in Minnesota, Erin moved to Missoula, MT after high school where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Montana’s School of Social Work. She was first introduced to BBBS through an internship and later started working for BBBS Missoula as a site-based coordinator for after-school programs and a Match Support Specialist. After seven years in Montana, falling in love and marrying her now-husband, Erin and family moved to Portland, OR for new opportunities in 2015. She quickly found a place here at BBBS Columbia NW as a Beyond School Walls Coordinator. Over the past six years, Erin has helped grow the site-based programs, managed them, helped establish and run the Outdoor Explorers program, and is currently Program Director, focusing on supporting our Community Based Program staff and matches. Erin has a passion for working with people, the BBBS Mission, and the great outdoors.
